CaliAire, Inc. is a new name but not a new company, formerly known as NorthernAir Mechanical. We are family owned and operated in the greater Sacramento Valley since 1997. Doug McClure and his wife Timi and sons Mitchell, Christian, and Michael work together to bring you the best customer service available. Our proudest attribute is we have been in business with mostly word of mouth referrals. We take great pride that customers trust us and tell their family, friends and co-workers about our great services.
Doug has been doing this work for 40 years and is very knowledgeable about all makes and models of heating and A/C systems, he has been known to diagnose the problem on the phone. We strive to be of service to our community with honest diagnostics to keep costs down for the client. We give options not just a sales pitch. Experience the difference. “My husband and I own a rental property in California and have been getting complaints from our tenants about a problem with the heating. Living in another state this could have been stressful situation for us to get things fixed and keep our tenants happy. One thing I really appreciated with this company is that they didn't require us to meet them at the home. Every other company that I called required that we fly in to be present at our rental house when they fixed it. This would have been really inconvenient for us so I was so relieved when I found Big Mtn Heating and Air. I called yesterday and spoke to a lady named Heidi and explained our situation. She was so nice and understanding and said that she would make arrangements and that we wouldn't need to be there. We paid over the phone and she said to let our tenants know their tech named Dave would be coming to the house that evening! They discovered the problem was with the ignitor and had it fixed right away. My tenants called me today and reported that it's working great now!
